Patient is a 48-year-old male who recently lost weight and was beginning to take care of himself again, becoming more conscience of his appearance. He felt that his eyes made him appear both tired and aged and wanted to look more “chipper”. He was quite hesitant about coming in and felt as though he was being vain. We discussed how common male aesthetic surgery is today, and how plastic surgery can boost self-esteem creating a positive feedback loop that continues to inspire and motivate.
Upper and lower blepharoplasty with autogenous fat transfer to the lower eyes for a total of 4.5cc. I think it is very important to include fat transfer when indicated with blepharoplasty to avoid hollowing over time. He was delighted with the result.
