Patient is a 24 year-old social media influencer who desires a straighter and more proportioned nose that better complements her facial features. She basically got her father’s crooked nose and feels that is masculine and big with a prominent dorsal hump and lack of elegant definition. She is front of the camera all day and is quite self-conscious about profile photos.
Procedure: Septorhinoplasty with straightening of cartilage septum and nasal bones with reinforcement of internal cartilage grafts. The dorsal hump was reduced and nasal tip cartilages were rotated and reduced utilizing suture techniques. Internal cartilage grafts were used to accentuate her dorsal aesthetic lines and maintain shape. Photos are 6 months post-surgery, and she is now extremely confident regarding her nose, her overall appearance, and feels truly beautiful for the first time.
