Patient is a 61-year-old female who has long desired a more elegant and feminine appearing nose that better matched her facial features. Specifically she does not like the asymmetry of her nose and broad nasal tip on frontal view, or the over-projecting dorsum with overly prominent nostrils on profile. She wants a nose that looks softer and natural.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, with take down of nasal dorsum, narrowing of the nasal bones, refinement of nasal tip cartilages and placement of facial graft to the radix (the top of the nasal dorsum) to make her profile appear more elegant. Each of these incremental steps are critical to provide the beautiful nose that blends so well with her facial features.
