Patient is a 25-year-old recent graduate from medical school who has long desired a more elegant nose that better complemented her face. Specifically she does not like her mildly bulbous and over-projecting nasal tip. She dislikes the small bump on her nasal dorsum, and also would like her nose to me a bit thinner to accentuate her cheekbones. She specifically wanted changes to be subtle, with no one knowing that she had nasal surgery.
Rhinoplasty with take down of dorsal hump, narrowing of nasal bones, and refinement of nasal tip cartilages and placement of small nasal tip graft to increase tip projection. A fascial graft was placed at the radix (top of nasal dorsum) to make the profile appear more elegant. She was delighted with the result.
