Patient is a 40-year-old female who had always desired a more feminine and elegant appearing nose. She did not like the width of her nose, and the masculine bump on her profile that she inherited from her father. She felt that it lacked the beautiful lines she sees on noses in magazines and wanted to achieve a nose that looked natural and complemented her facial features. Also, as she has aged, her face has become hollow and increasingly elongated, emphasizing her fatigued appearing eyes and narrow jawline. She wanted to look more attractive.
Rhinoplasty with reduction of nasal dorsum, narrowing of nasal bones, contouring of nasal tip cartilages and placement of fascial grafts to the glabella (region below eyebrows at top of nose) to soften and elongate her profile which actually makes the nose look shorter. She also underwent facial fat transfer for a total of 31cc injected to the lower eyes, midface, cheekbones, cheeks, jawline, and upper and lower lips. Photographs are 6 months post-op and her fat transfer volume is stable.
