Patient is a 33 year-old female from Australia who wanted a more attractive nose. She stated that “she got her nose from her father”, and disliked that it appeared masculine and bulbous, and turned down in photos when she was smiling. She hated her large nostrils. She wanted a smaller, perkier, and more feminine appearing nose that better complemented her facial features.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, with narrowing and equalization of nasal bone positions and suture contouring of nasal tip cartilages. She also had reduction of her dorsal hump and placement of a fascial graft to the radix (the top of her nose between the eyebrows) to make the nose appear shorter and more feminine. The nostrils were also reduced to complement her smaller and more feminine nose.
