Patient is an 18-year-old who had long desired a more angular and elegant nose. She felt that her nose was crooked, and always had to modify photos of herself to her satisfaction. She wanted a more defined and less bulbous nasal tip, with more sculpted nasal bones and cartilages that better complemented her facial features.
Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty with repair of deviated nasal septum, softening of the dorsal nasal hump and modification of nasal tip cartilages with resection and suture techniques. She had placement of a fascial graft to her nasal radix (where nose meets forehead) to feminize her nasal profile, and cartilaginous grafts to the nasal tip to give long term structural support. She was delighted with her new nose, and found it to be an amazing boost to her confidence and self-image.
