Patient is a 36-year-old nurse with a long-standing desire to improve the appearance or her nose. She had broken her nose as a teenager, with subsequent crookedness that she wanted to correct. When she saw photos of herself, she felt her nose appears masculine and over-projecting and that it did not complement the rest of her face well. She would like a softer and more feminine nose that appears natural and straight before her upcoming wedding.
Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty with reduction of dorsal bony hump, contouring of nasal tip cartilages through excision and suture techniques, and placement of deep temporal graft to the radix, to soften the confluence of the forehead and nose giving a more feminine and “model-like” result. She is delighted with the result, and feels much more confident and attractive!
