Patient is a 29-year-old female who has long desired a more elegant nose that better complements her facial features and appears more soft and feminine. Specifically she does not like her rather bulbous nasal tip and is very self-conscious regarding her profile and subsequently avoids having her photograph taken. She also dislikes that her nasal tip turns down when she smiles. She wants a more delicate appearing nose that better suits her face and makes her feel more attractive.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, contouring of the nasal tip cartilages, reduction of the nasal projection, take-down of dorsal hump and narrowing of the nasal bones. She was ecstatic with the result.
