Patient is a 47-year-old female with a long-standing desire for a more feminine appearing nose that better complemented her facial features. Spending her career on camera, her nose has always bothered her, especially when she sees her profile. She feels that she inherited her father’s nose with a bulbous nasal tip that lacks projection, a dorsal hump, and wide asymmetric nasal bones that appear masculine. She desires a softer nose that appears natural and un-operated upon.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, lowering of dorsal hump with narrowing of nasal bones, contouring of nasal tip cartilages with placement of small tip graft to improve tip projection. She was delighted with the result.
