Patient is a 25-year-old medical professional with a long-standing desire for a more attractive nose that would better complement her facial features. Specifically, she did not like her profile with the prominent take off below her forehead that produced a harsh appearance. She wanted to reduce her dorsal hump, and refine her bulbous nasal tip and elongated nostrils that she felt she inherited from her father. She wanted a more feminine and “perky” nasal tip that she illustrated in her pre-operative photograph research.
Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty and straightening and reduction of nasal septum and nasal bones with reduction of nasal dorsum. She also underwent contouring and refinement of her nasal tip with calculated rotation to achieve the outcome she desired. A fascial graft was placed at the nasal radix at the top of the nose to soften the interface between the forehead and nose, improving her profile.
