Patient is a 20-year-old female who had long desired a more elegant and feminine nose that looked less prominent. She was bothered by her dorsal hump and over-projecting nasal tip that had made her very self-conscious about having her photo taken, especially her profile. She hoped for her nose to appear smaller, perkier, and straighter.
Rhinoplasty Septoplasty with take down of dorsal hump and modification of nasal tip cartilages through suture and excisional techniques. Her nasal bones were narrowed and a fascial graft was placed at her radix (the top of her nose where the nose meets the forehead) to soften the transition of the beginning of her nose which actually makes the nose appear shorter. Fat was transferred to her periorbital region below her eyes to soften the hollowing and hyperpigmentation of this region. She is delighted with her results; photos were taken approximately 3 months after surgery.
