Patient is a 26 -year-old female with a long-standing desire to improve the appearance of her nose. She did not like the hump on her profile or the width of her nose, and wanted to have a more attractive and sculpted nasal tip that did not droop when she smiled. She had been hesitant about pursuing cosmetic nasal surgery for fear of ending up with an unpleasant result.
Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty and correction of nasal septal deviation, reduction of nasal dorsal hump and narrowing of nasal bones. She had contouring of her nasal tip with reduction and suture modification of tip cartilages. Cartilagenous grafts obtained from the septum were used to increase tip projection and maintain her final result. She was delighted with the softness and elegance of her nose and the preservation of both her ethnicity and unique “look”.
