Patient is a 18 year-old female who desired a more attractive and feminine appearing nose. She felt that her nose resembled her father’s and that it detracted from her otherwise delicate features. She felt that it deviated to the right, was over-projecting, and the tip was bulbous and unrefined. She would love a beautiful nose but had been hesitant to undergo nasal surgery because she had yet to find a surgeon she trusted.
Procedure: Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, narrowing and equalization of the nasal bones with reduction of dorsal hump. She also had contouring and reduction of the nasal tip cartilages and placement of a fascial graft to the nasal radix (the top of the nose between the eyebrows) in order to make the nose appear shorter and perkier as she desired. She was elated with the appearance of her new nose.
