Patient is a 28 year-old female with a long standing desire for a more feminine and elegant nose. She has always been bothered by her “rough” appearing nose that has a bump on profile, and has a nasal tip that is both bulbous and over-projected. Being tall (5’8”), she does not want a nose that is too small for her face, but yearns for a refined profile and perky nasal tip that makes her feel more beautiful.
Procedure: Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal hump, reduction of nasal projection and tip rotation with contouring through suture and cartilage reduction techniques. Internal cartilage grafts were placed to maintain long-term structural integrity. Photographs are approximately 5 months post-surgery, and further refinement in size and shape can be anticipated. She was absolutely elated with her surgical result.
