Patient is a 25 year-old female of mixed ethnicity who has long desired a cuter nose with a smaller and more feminine nasal tip and perky profile. She does not like her broad nasal tip and wide nasal bones, and explained through discussion and imaging pre-operatively, along with the aid of photographs of desired outcomes, what she was striving for. She would like to maintain her exotic “look”, and would like her nose to appear natural and more elegant.
Procedure: Septorhinoplasty with straightening of nasal dorsum, narrowing of nasal bones with narrowing and contouring of nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques. To maximize the aesthetics of her profile, a fascial graft was placed at the radix (top of her nose beneath eyebrows). Finally, internal cartilage grafts were placed to provide long-term support to ensure a beautiful nose for years to come. She is absolutely delighted with her result. Photos are 2.5 months after surgery, and improved definition and shape can be expected over time.
