Patient is a 23-year-old female who has long been bothered by her nasal asymmetry and rather masculine appearing nose. She does not like the bump on her nose and the fact that it seems bulbous and over-projecting. She desires a more angular nose that appears feminine and complements her other facial features.
Procedure: Septorhinoplasty with straightening of nasal septum and nasal bones, reduction of nasal dorsal hump and contouring of the nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques. Internal cartilage grafts were placed to ensure long-term maintenance of air way and structure. Photos were taken approximately 1 year after surgery. She is delighted with her result, sharing that her rhinoplasty has vastly improved her self-esteem and improved her quality of life.
