Patient is a 23-year-old female with a very astute aesthetic eye.  She has studied many noses and would like a more angular and defined nasal tip with slight decrease of her nasal projection.  Should desires slight rotation of her nasal tip to appear a bit more feminine, with reduction of some of the tip wideness, and proportional adjustment of her nasal bones and dorsal aesthetic lines.  She also requested more definition and angularity of her cheekbones, as she has always had a bit of a full face, especially as a young child.  Lastly, she would like to have a more angular and defined jawline and chin that would complement her other proposed angular facial features.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with small reduction of nasal dorsum, narrowing of nasal bones and refinement of the nasal tip through suture and cartilaginous reduction techniques.  The projection of her nose was increased with internal cartilage grafts, imparting the appearance of more angularity that she desired.  Bilateral buccal fat pads were removed to increase the definition of her cheekbones, and a chin augmentation was performed with placement of a medium extended anatomic chin implant with 100cc of liposuction of the neck and jawline.  Fat harvested was utilized for lip augmentation as a total of 4cc of fat transfer to the upper and lower lips to complete her result.  Photos are approximately 6 months post surgery and she is extremely happy with her results.

Patient is a 51-year-old female who desires a smaller and more feminine nose.  She has thought about a rhinoplasty for years but had never felt comfortable with the previous consultations that she had. She has had long term difficulty breathing without a history of trauma.   She specifically would like a nose with a more delicate and contoured tip, and a profile without the large over-projecting dorsal hump.  She had researched many noses that she likes, and very much wants a rotated nasal tip that appears “perky”.  Of course, she desires a natural appearing nose that she wishes she had been born with.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of dorsal hump, narrowing of nasal bones with placement of internal cartilage grafts to open and preserve her airway and create dorsal aesthetic lines.  Her nasal tip was reduced through cartilage reduction and suture techniques, and her caudal septum was recontoured to allow appropriately desire rotation of her nasal tip.  The aperature and flare of her nostril were adjusted to provide a well-balanced and natural appearing result.  Photographs are approximately 3 months after surgery, and significantly improved definition and reduction of nasal size can be expected.  She is very happy with her results, stating she wishes she had done her surgery decades ago, now breathing well and loving the way she looks.

Patient is a 20 year-old college student who would like a more attractive nose that better complements her facial features.  She basically feels that she got her father’s nose and thinks it is too masculine, with wide nasal bones, a wide nasal tip, and mild dorsal hump.  She would like a nose that seems prettier and more feminine, while maintaining her “look”.  

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal dorsum, narrowing of nasal bones to create appropriate dorsal aesthetic lines, and refinement of nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  Internal cartilage grafts were placed to provide long-term stability, and nostrils were reduced to complement her refined nasal tip.   Photos are 9 months post-surgery.  She loves her result.

Patient is a 36-year-old female who presented for consultation after having had 2 previous rhinoplasties by another surgeon about 10 years ago.  She is very self-conscious about her over-projecting nose, bulbous nasal tip, and is worried that people can see inside her nose.  She desires a softer and more elegant nose that better complements and enhances her facial features.

Procedure:  Revision rhinoplasty with placement of cadaveric cartilage graft as support and fulcrum for reshaping the previous rhinoplasty.  The nasal dorsum was reduced, and the over-projecting tip was reduced and contoured.  The nasal tip was de-rotated to be more aesthetic, and nostrils were lowered and reduced to look more elegant.  Photographs are 4 months after surgery, and further refinement can be expected.  She is delighted with her result.

Patient is a 34-year-old female that has considering a rhinoplasty for years.  She is otherwise happy with her facial features, obtaining her strong bone structure from her mother which she greatly appreciates.  She is bothered by her nose as she feels it does not match her face, appearing unrefined and over-projecting.  She would like to correct her crooked dorsum and tip, and simultaneously reduce her nostrils.  She would like subtle changes performed that accentuate and complement her face.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with straightening of bones and septum, mild reduction of dorsal hump, and contouring of her nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  Her nasal projection was reduced and maintained with the introduction of internal cartilage grafts, and her nostrils were modified to decrease flare.  Photographs are approximately 6 months post-surgery.  She is incredibly happy with her results, feeling that her nose is one that she wishes she had been born with.

Patient is a 18 year-old female who would like a more refined looking nose.  Specifically, she desires her nose to appear thinner and “less fleshy”, and dislikes  how wide her nasal bones and tip appear.  She would like to see her nose have a more elegant shape that better complements her facial features.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with mild reduction of dorsal hump, narrowing of nasal bones and contouring of nasal tip through suture techniques.  Internal cartilage grafts were placed to provide internal structural support, and help create angularity of the nasal tip.  Note how prominent the dorsal aesthetic lines of the nose are now.  Photos were taken 2 months post-surgery, and significant improvement in tip definition can be expected over time.  She is ecstatic with her surgical result.

Patient is a 30-year-old female who relocated from Iraq four months before coming in for a consultation regarding improving the appearance of her nose. She desired a shorter and perkier tip with a more refined profile that better complemented and accentuated her facial features. She was specifically self-conscious about how her nasal tip turned down when she smiled and looked forward to being more self-confident.

Rhinoplasty Septoplasty with straightening of nasal septum, reduction of dorsal hump and radix, and contouring of nasal tip cartilages through suture and excisional techniques. Importantly cartilage grafts were placed internally to provide long term support in light of the patient’s ethnicity and thick skin with the propensity for loss of definition over time. Patient is a 20 year-old female who underwent a previous rhinoplasty performed in Mexico.  She was never happy with her result and saw progressive thickening and bulkiness of her nasal tip that drastically drooped when she smiles. This is the classic “polly-beak deformity” that often happens from poorly planned and executed rhinoplasties that lack adequate support and allow scar tissue to hamper the result.   She desires a smaller nose that appears perky, better accentuates her facial features, and that does not plunge with animation.

Procedure:  Revision Rhinoplasty with removal of soft tissue scar, reduction and narrowing of nasal bones to create dorsal aesthetic lines, and contouring of the nasal tip cartilages through suture and excisional maneuvers.  Her nose was shortened to instill the feminine “perky” appearance she was seeking, and most importantly internal cartilage grafts were placed from nasal septal grafts to provide long-term support and assurance that her surgical result maintains its integrity throughout her life.  Photos are 1 year after her rhinoplasty revision and she could not be more delighted.

Patient is a 40 year-old female in the aesthetic provider field of mixed Mediterranean and African-American heritage who desires a smaller more feminine nose that better complements her facial features.  She wants a nose with a softer profile and less projecting nasal tip that appears more refined but maintains her ethnic features.  

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal dorsal profile, contouring of nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques, and lowering of nasal tip over-projection with stabilization through placement of internal cartilage grafts.  A fascial graft was placed at the nasal radix (top of nose) to feminize the nasal profile, and nostrils were reduced and made more symmetric.  Photographs are 5 months post-surgery and further refinement in nasal shape and size and be anticipated.  She is extremely happy with how beautiful and natural her nose appears now, and usually people do not mention any change in her appearance.

Patient is a 20 year-old Latin female who desires cosmetic improvement of her nose.  As long as she can remember she has been self-conscious about her profile and avoids having pictures taken at certain angles.  She feels that her nose is ill-defined, crooked, and just too big for her face.  She has dreamed of a smaller, softer, and more feminine nose that better complements her facial features.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of radix and nasal dorsal bones, narrowing of nasal bridge to create appropriate dorsal aesthetic lines, and nasal tip contouring through cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  Her nasal septum was straightened, and internal cartilage grafts were placed for long-term form integrity.  Lastly, her nostrils were reduced to decrease flare to complement her other nasal modifications.  Post-operative photographs are approximately 5 weeks after surgery and considerable size reduction and increased definition will progress over the next year.  One can appreciate her new confidence and appreciation of her own beauty.

Patient is a 18 year-old female with a desire for a softer and more feminine appearing nose.  She is tired of having to modify her social media posts as she is very self-conscious of the hook on her profile and the width of her upper nose that makes her appear harsh.  She desires a nose that complements strong bone structure.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with narrowing and reduction of nasal bones and contouring of nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  An internal cartilage graft was placed as to not over-rotate her nasal tip, and nostrils were reduced to complement her smaller nasal profile.  A fascial graft was placed at her radix (top of nose between eyebrows) to impart a more elegant profile.  She is delighted with the results of her nasal surgery.  Photos are taken approximately 3 months post-surgery and further definition and refinement is expected.

Patient is a 32-year-old woman middle-eastern woman who desires a softer and more feminine appearing nose.  She dislikes her profile with the prominent hump, and hates smiling in photos as her nasal tip droops, making her upper lip disappear.  She would like a more delicate and sculpted nasal tip that better matches her other facial features.  She and her family wanted to maintain her “ethnicity” as they are proud of their heritage.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of dorsum and narrowing of the nasal bones to produce appealing dorsal aesthetic lines.  Her nose was shortened and the tip rotated while simultaneously the nasal tip cartilages were contoured through suture and cartilage reduction techniques.  Internal cartilage grafts were placed to provide structural support and increase tip projection.  Both she and her family were delighted with the results.  Photos are approximately 3 months after surgery, and progressive loss of swelling can be anticipated up to 1 year with further tip definition and reduction of overall nasal size.

Patient is a 28 year-old-hispanic female who had a long-standing desire to have a perkier and more feminine appearing nose.  Spicifically, she did not like the bump on her nose or her wide asymmetric nasal tip and nostrils that droop when she smiled.  

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal hump, narrowing of nasal bones and reorientation of nasal tip cartilages through both excisional and suture contouring techniques.  A supporting cartilaginous strut was placed to maintain long-term tip elevation to achieve the “perky tip” she desired, along with nostril narrowing to complete her rhinoplasty.  Cartilage structural support and tissue undermining were keys to predictably and successfully reducing her overall nasal size.  Photos are approximately 5 months post-surgery and she is extremely delighted with her surgical result.

Patient is a 16-year-old female who has long desired a more delicate and feminine nose.  She has been self-conscious about her profile as long as she can remember, and avoids having her picture taken as she dislikes her large hump and down-turned nasal tip when she smiles.  She feels that her nose appears crooked and dominates her facial features.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with straightening of nasal bones and septum, and reduction of her large dorsal hump.  The nasal tip was modified through cartilage reduction and suture techniques, and internal cartilage grafts were placed to maintain tip projection and airway competence.  Photos are 6 months post-surgery and there is still considerable swelling that will diminish, decreasing the size of the nose and increasing tip definition.  She was absolutely delighted with her surgical result, with a significant increase in self-confidence, and positive perception of her overall appearance.

Patient is a 29-year-old female who has long desired a more elegant and “perky” nose that better suited her face.  She does not like her plunging and bulbous nasal tip that seems quite asymmetric in photos.  She feels that her nose is too wide and nostrils seem off and is constantly modifying its appearance with filters.  

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal dorsal hump, narrowing of nasal bones to create dorsal aesthetic lines, and contouring and rotation of nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  Nostrils were made more symmetric and reduced to complement her new nasal profile.  Photos are approximately 3 months post-surgery with significant further refinement expected.  She is delighted with her new nose.
