Patient is a 62-year-old female who is extremely active with much time spent outside enjoying sports. She had a facelift 15 years ago, and was concerned she looked pulled after her first surgery albeit with a rapid recovery. Currently she does not like the hollowness of her eyes and cheeks, and would like to address her jawline and neck which have become progressively aged appearing with skin and muscle laxity.
High SMAS Facelift, lower eyelid TCA chemical peel, and autologenous fat transfer to the face for a total of 19cc including the lower eyes, nasolabial folds, upper and lower lips, and jawline. Notice the youthful voluptuous and glow this patient has from the addition of micro fat transfer to the procedure. Of note is the notion that her original facelift with stretched appearance but rapid recovery was most likely a “skin” facelift without the benefits of contemporary SMAS facelift that do not depend upon skin tightness for the desired effect. This results in a longer lasting and much more natural appearing facelift.
