The Scoop on Courteney Cox and Plastic Surgery
Everyone’s favorite Friends star Courteney Cox has always been vocal about her dedication to proactive and preventative skin care and anti aging treatments. From Botox to Ultherapy to even a purported trip (or two) to the operating room, the 50 year old beauty has admitted she’ll try anything once to maintain her looks and keep aging at bay. Thanks to the magic of film or an arsenal of stylists and makeup artists that work tirelessly behind the scenes make sure celebs look their best on the red carpet and the big screen, we tend to think stars have some kind of super power when it comes to eternally looking young and beautiful. If ever you’ve had the opportunity to come face to face with your favorite celebrity, you may have realized they’re (pretty much) just like the rest of us. A wrinkle here, a blotchy patch there, maybe even a big ol’ zit brewing in the middle of their cheek – it’s nothing most of us haven’t contended with at some point in our lives. Well, if ever you get the chance to meet Courteney Cox – you can throw that theory out the window. We were recently in Los Angeles and had the opportunity to meet Courteney Cox on the set of Cougar Town, and wow – she’s actually even more beautiful and youthful in person than the tabloids would have you believe. Her skin was beautiful and radiant – so much so that we found ourselves awkwardly staring at her almost tempted to ask her to spill on all of her beauty secrets. It turns out her skin treatment du jour is laser treatments, telling New You magazine earlier this year that she’s on a rigorous laser treatment plan for both her face and body.
“You know what, I’m game for anything. I’m very open to trying to prolong the inevitable,” the single star admits. “I’m a big laser believer — I really think they are the wave of the future. I just did Ulthera, which is supposed to produce collagen, and I’m about to do Fraxel, which will get rid of all these brown spots off my arms, chest and face,” Cox said.
The proof is in the pudding.
